Feng Shui

Classical consultation • American & Canadian traditions • Osaka, Japan

Feng Shui is one of those subjects that attracts both serious practitioners and a great deal of noise. The Shifu's approach is straightforward: classical Feng Shui is a sophisticated system for understanding how environment affects human wellbeing — energetically, spatially, and temporally. It is not decoration. It is not superstition. And it is not something that can be learned from a weekend seminar or a book of lucky colors.

That said, the Shifu holds his Feng Shui practice with the same observational and non-dogmatic stance he brings to energy work generally — attentive to what people actually report experiencing, cautious about overstatement, and more interested in practical benefit than theoretical correctness.

What a Consultation Involves

Classical Feng Shui assessment works with the orientation of a space, its internal layout, the timing of the building's construction, and the Ba Zi (Four Pillars) of the occupants. A serious consultation is not a quick walk-through with a compass — it takes time, careful analysis, and honest conversation about what is and is not practical to change.

The Shifu offers consultations for residential and small commercial spaces, particularly for those living in Japan or considering relocation. Given his own Ba Zi background and cross-cultural life, he is especially well placed to work with people navigating bicultural or bilingual living environments.

Those interested in a consultation are welcome to reach out directly to discuss scope and availability.
